Cash management in Germany
Danske Bank has been operating in Germany since 1985. From our branch in Hamburg, we offer a full range of products, including trade finance, to multinational companies operating in Germany.

With our in-house settlement of domestic and cross-border payments as well as online integration with the Bank’s central IT platform in Copenhagen, Hamburg branch offers flexible and sophisticated cash management solutions to corporate customers.

Payments and clearing systems
The Bank has access to the following systems:

  • RTGSplus for same-day settlement; linked to TARGET
  • ELS, an alternative system for banks that do not use RTGSplus
  • EMZ for bulk payments, direct debits, paperless cheque collection (BSE) and collection of cheques over €3,000
Business systems
Danske Bank offers MultiCash Plus, the most common Windows-based electronic banking system in Germany. It includes domestic and cross-border payment orders and retrieval of information from domestic accounts.

Business Online is Danske Bank’s Web-based system. It provides easy access to real-time account information, ensuring that you always have a complete and accurate picture of your company’s cash position.

With both Business Online and our Windows-based system, Business PC, you can quickly set up and authorise single or multiple payments, and you can make local payments in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, the UK or Germany.
