Cash management in the UK
With operations in both Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Danske Bank now offers cash management services throughout the United Kingdom.
UK branch in London
Danske Bank has been operating in the UK since 1984. London Branch, with around 80 employees, offers a wide range of services to corporate and institutional customers, including asset management, treasury, trade finance, and conventional banking and cash management products.
Northern Bank
Danske Bank has been operating in Northern Ireland since March 2005, when we acquired Northern Bank, the largest retail bank in Northern Ireland, with a network of 95 branches and 13 finance centres. Northern Bank provides corporate customers with a broad range of financial products tailored to the market in Northern Ireland.
Payments and clearing systems
The Bank has access to the three principal clearing systems run by the Association of Payment and Clearing Services (APACS):
- CHAPS: an RTGS system for same-day payments
- BACS for direct debits and credits
- Cheque and Credit for bulk paper clearing
Business systems
Business Online is Danske Bank’s Web-based system. It provides easy access to real-time account information, ensuring that you always have a complete and accurate picture of your company’s cash position.
With both Business Online and our Windows-based system, Business PC, you can quickly set up and authorise single or multiple payments, and you can make local payments in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, the UK or Germany.
